WHO WE ARE
Victory Lipa is a Batangas church that exists to honor God and make disciples in the beautiful city of Lipa, Batangas.
OUR STORY
Victory Lipa, a church in Lipa, Batangas, started as an idea almost fourteen years ago, when leaders from Victory Los Baños and Victory Alabang spearheaded a campus outreach at De La Salle Lipa and Lipa City Colleges on behalf of a program called Youth on Fire. The two-day outreach, intended originally to encourage the students to take a more Biblical stance in the area of morality, paved the way towards a weekly Saturday youth gathering at the local Kenny Rogers Roasters. Volunteers from Victory Los Baños oversaw the regular meetings and trained and discipled many faithful attendees, preparing them to make a difference for Jesus in Lipa City.
After almost a year of regular weekend gatherings, the Saturday shindigs were moved to an office space at the CAP Building, a building situated in the heart of Lipa City. A few dedicated men and women were hired as full-time workers to oversee the weekend meetings and day-to-day administrative work; on weekdays, the room was used for prayer meetings and classes.
The group’s growth in numbers being inevitable, with more than 160 disciples in training, Sunday gatherings were soon started at the senior pastor’s residence. When the church attendance grew to a significant level, after much prayer and fasting, God provided the leaders with a warehouse that soon became the Victory Lipa Center, which now serves as the worship service venue. Beside it is another facility which houses the offices of the pastors and staff and rooms for Kids Ministry.
Victory Lipa is now the spiritual home of more than 2500 people from Lipa City. As God continues to pour people into the church and tasks and challenges arrive on a regular basis, the opportunity to rely on God is welcome and appreciated. Victory Lipa remains focused on its mission: to honor God and make disciples in Lipa City, whatever it takes!
